Stopped by a gas station on way home from work. Not in a bad area never have trouble here. 3 men came up asking for money and got very angry when I refused, I thought it was about to be a fight.
People are getting laid off work and getting restless. I fear it will only get worse. Protect yourself out there folks

Didn’t escalate to that point. My point is people are getting anxious and upset and with the layoffs will have no money and there may be instances where you need to protect yourself

I don't carry and had a encounter last week. I was walking out of a gas station and this bum was sitting against the building and started saying "Hey man". I knew he probably wanted money, so I didn't look back kept walking. The bum jumped up and started coming toward me cussing.
I opened my truck fast and acted like I was going for my "gun" in the glove box and the goon turn and ran.
Time for me to take some classes. I have a home protection weapon, but haven't felt comfortable enough to carry.

This is why I goto the uppity filling station by my house that charges $2.39/gal for regular unleaded.
