I was there. So hopefully, I didn’t catch COVID from him.
He was coming from an event in PointeAuxChenes. He mainly stayed on the stage in Leeville. The event was in a packed Air Conditioned tent. So hopefully the event will not be a super spreader event. The press was looking for him to discuss Roe vs. Wade, but instead he drove off for a photo op on the bridge and then hauled arse.
Cassidy was able throw out some comments about Roe.

I would say he’s a man who lost a good bit of his base, based on LA abortion law — lame duck or not — and this was the right call to make FOR HIM. And now because he “has it”, here come the serious things like mandating 5 year olds get vaccinated and bringing back he Dr. O’Neals of the world. Making or attempting to make a round III with Covid. Maybe IV?
