I wonder if antique had to look it up and bought your story for a minute.

I have one just like it. I looked it up in the past. I can't recall any info on it, but it ain't worth much. Maybe $50.

Have a German officers WWII Luger, with additional clip, and leather holster. Never been fired. Given to my grandfather at a ceremonial surrender. Been authenticated as well. No intention of ever selling, but curious what that would go for.
ETA: don’t recall the German Generals name, but he was not of significant note
Depends a lot on the luger... Maker and year... But for all practical purposes.
Luger - $1,500
Magazine - $150
Holster $450
If it has paper work to go along with the general story and your grandfathers unit history etc. should add value. - $1,000
this grouping together should be about $3 - $3,500

Unfortunately, grandma’s China has taken a major hit over the last 25 years. An 8 place setting maybe worth $100
I have a friend who stages and holds estate sales. She said there is gorgeous old china at all of them and you can barely give it away. No one wants it. And none of the grandkids will keep it. I've threatened my daughter that I will come back and haunt her if she sells it off!

I’d say that’s an old store display. I can’t really appraise it without seeing in person. I can’t tell how big it is or what’s it’s made of.
It’s 18” tall and is heavy, at least 10 to 15 pounds. It was purchased at an estate sale in Franklin, LA, by a dealer. Supposedly it was from an old estate with some wealth. Other serious Christmas collectors have said it’s probably a piece of folk art, one of a kind. The slots do indicate that it once held something, and maybe it was a sign for a store display, but also maybe a broom.

That one is out of my league really. It falls more into old time camera collecting that Militaria.
Because they are really peacetime products.

This is a piece of artwork, I think maybe original watercolor. It was sold to me (for like $50) by the company I worked for that was closing and selling off everything. It had been transferred to the Houston office of Paracelsus Healthcare from California. Some of the art was by known artists, as I know for sure that one piece they owned was by Chagall. Any ideas who this artist is?

10th-12th century Viking gilt silver zoomorphic pendant. Northern Europe/Gotland/Denmark.
Grapefruit spoon in pic for comparison.
I bought this several months ago for my gf's (no pics) birthday at the end of August.
Thanks AT!!
Btw I have another on page 6 if you'd like to check it out..
