You'll get a few bites, but don't make the hook so shiny next time.

Finally they can use that 1 blue light that is always left on. When the lights change to purple and gold there is one spot that ends up green because it's blue and yellow.

You see purple/gold/purple/green/purple/gold... pisses me off. It's 1 damn light and it faces toward right field in Alex Box. I see it all baseball season.

if they did it for these cops, that would mean the white house would need to be lit blue every time a cop was killed.

so it would stay blue a lot of the time. not that there's anything wrong with that other than it means cops are dying.

You don't see how it helps to show solidarity and support to LEO at a time where they're being ambushed and gunned down in the streets by terrorists? Ever hear of a word called "morale

Like I said in my post, how is this different than a hashtag? It's just as pointless an exercise

Not really. It was a novel idea the first couple dozen times it was done, but that shite needs to stop.

If were a cop, I wouldn't give a shite about some colored lights on a building. It would piss me off. Make me sick. Make me completely disillusioned with how degenerate our society has become, watching yet another city around the globe shine some pretty colored lights to commemorate another mass shooting. What the frick?

And what's even better... what do people do with this gesture that's supposed to be a symbol of solidarity? They turn it into a political pissing match about who lit up a building or didn't, or when they did, or how long it took. What's next, a protest because the lights weren't bright enough?

How about we just stop shooting the frick out of each other every day in this country?

Obama had the WH's lights turned purple for Prince. A drug overdosed rock star. Yet 8 police officers killed in the line of duty & 10 wounded "will not be considered" according to Obama's National WH press agent.
