What are the OT's go to tie colors? I've gotta get some new ties to go with my navy blue suit and my charcoal grey suit, but I am not sure what direction to go color wise.

Any go to patterns on ties?

I have all kinds of color ties. Depends on my mood.

Don't get anything try hard though. Get solids or simple designs.

My SO wears a variety of gold, various shades of blue, deep red, and a light green. IMO the nicest looking ones are paisley, followed by diagonal stripes (but NOT 2 solid colored stripes). He typically wears French blue or baby blue shirts with those.

I agree. I will say, I have a pink and a purple floral pattern that gets a lot of compliments from the ladies. It's something a little different when you're tired of reds, blues, and greens in solids and stripes.

I think florals are nice as long as the pattern is small, repetitive, and doesn’t mix too many colors.

Yeah I try to stick with subtle ties, and I don't go with anything crazy. Particularly with patterns, I want something that looks nice but doesn't draw a lot of attention.

Red is a go to color with any dark colored suit in black, blue, gray, charcoal.

A nice purple colored tie would go good with the charcoal grey suit.

Not just straight purple though, find a nice design with purple and shades of grey in it.

Find some Clip-Ons, they're always stable colors/patterns,

That pretty much describes mine.

I have a few of these, too, but I find myself wearing them a lot less often these days.
