Ticks Suck Nuts

One time when I was about 14 I was out playing with some friends at the river. We were in and out of water, playing around in tall grass, etc.
I noticed a couple days later my balls were itchy so I kept scratching. I thought nothing of it for a few days. Then I noticed a "place" on the bottom of my nut sack that was kinda ripping off. I thought maybe it was a pimple that had scabbed over with lose skin.
One day I got sick of it and just ripped it. I thought "finally I got rid of this damn sore." Then I looked closer. In my hand was a fricking fat arse tick full of blood. What I thought was a sore of some kind (that I had been picking at) was a damn live tick. Baw had been sucking nuts for days.
I've always wondered if it gave my lyme disease as I've felt like shite since. Always tired and fatigued.
Anyone else ever had a tick on your body for a while? Anyone ever had lyme?

Unless you’re 14.5 years old you probably should have got that shite checked out years ago

Years ago, when my oldest son was 12, he was taking a shower one evening and he screamed for me (his dad). It was like a bloody murder scream, ha ha...I thought it was very unusual because at that age he had just hit puberty, and for him to call me while he was naked in the shower was just not normal.....he was scared AF....he was washing himself and his hands ran across a damned tick near the bottom of his nuts near his taint. That was an awkward moment, but I pulled the damned thing out and made sure the head was out and showed it to him after he got out of the shower. I did my best to act like it was no big deal (which to me it wasn't). It had to have been embarrassing for him at that age for me to see him naked though. We laugh about it now (he's 31).

Yes someone has had lyme. It wouldn't be a disease if no one had. Go to doc and ask to be tested for lyme disease. Like I said before, it is a very variable disease and can manifest itself differently.

Welp. My tick on the nuts story had me at 3-4 years old outside of Meridian MS at my grandparents house.
Don’t think I caught Lyme Disease however. Honestly, the tick/Lyme issue is very very real and sad.
