Myself and several of my neighbors have gotten tickets for not stopping at the intersection leaving our subdivision. The problem is that the stop sign is set about 50 feet from the actual intersection and flanked on both sides by our entrance brick wall. Folks are stopping at the stop sign, then driving onto the highway. Because of the brick wall, the officer cannot see if you stop at the stop sign. He only sees you rolling through to the highway. This is in Youngsville. Police chief refuses to stop the practice. Advice: Don’t move to Youngsville!

Pull the stop sign out of the ground and throw it in a ditch.

Broussard cops are pretty cool, and there are a lot of them always patrolling.

Walkers lake?? Nvm I see it's highland plantation. Doesn't Ricky Boudreaux live in that neighborhood? Or is that highland ridge?

Stop at the road or have the sign moved closer to the corner.

I think I will take it to court. Just don’t know what to expect. What my chances are. If I lose it’s another $50 on top of the $160.
