In my experience, going to court to fight a ticket is a total waste of time unless you can prove that either you did not break any law or there is a damn good reason why it happened. Based on what you are saying, I would check to be sure that the sign is placed within the state's required distance from the intersecting road. Try out page 133 of this codebook:

They really are. If you live there they will even chit chat with you during a traffic stop. Never got a ticket from BPD.

I turned onto Morgan from 90 the other day and saw 6 patrols between 90 and amabassador.
