What is it with Toyota and their front ends? First they f'd up the 4Runner... now the new Supra. Otherwise, not bad. I would expect more HP than that though.

They're not putting a pig heavy iron block and twin turbos in anything anytime soon. So...
Modern M motors are still extremely tunable.

I understand that they worked together on the chassis, but BMW should have let them lie in the bed they made with abysmal V6s recently and scoffing at turbo 4s until they finally came out with their pathetic attempt at one.

A V6 Camry has 301hp. This Supra needs to be 400hp.

Between HPFP failing, VANOS failure, and connecting rod issues I'm done with M-cars .
When they ran and before engine failure, the M3 and M6 was great.

I get it, but after HPFP failure, turbo rebuilds....Sure it's not the long block but still requires the car to be at the dealer for repair under warranty.

It's really not. My Ford Edge has 320. It;s a lot of power compared to older cars, sure.
Having said that, with the right weight and gearing, it will most likely still be an amazing car to drive. I have no doubt that Toyota will not attach the Supra name to a shitty car.
