It is a nice truck.
They way I go through trucks I just do not see the value in upgrading to a nicer model.
Maybe when I slow down I might look at a lariat, gmc Denali, or Dodge upper end truck.
I got 2015 F150 4x4 with 71,000 miles and it is just over a year old.

Right. Thing to keep in mind when buying a vehicle - a salvage title means it either had water or fire damage, and you should avoid it unless it's a vehicle approaching six figures in value.

A rebuilt title means it was wrecked and totaled by insurance.

People have forgotten that you can negotiate heavily on trucks. The MSRP is a wildly inflated number and should not be used to determine a good price for a truck.

Yeah, I said the sticker price on my dad's truck was almost $70k. He didn't pay anywhere near that.

His truck has a panoramic moon-roof, the softest leather I've ever seen, 360 degree cameras, automatic running boards, carpeted bed liner, yada yada yada.

The last truck I owned had glasspacks with turndowns directly under the back seat and a rhino bedliner that looked like a rhino tap danced on it for about 10 years, and I loved it.

Considering that's prob a 60-70k truck, no thanks. Would never spend that on a Chevy

You can't do that... No salvage title on a flooded vehicle. They are all to be scrapped. Passed that due to the issues after Katrina. Unless they are different b/c its commercial... But doubt that seriously.

The front grill and bumper are way too big. Other than that, that's one sexy truck.

New chevy/gmcs are shite.

The one crew cab 2500 4x4 work bought us is a giant POS. Brand new all kinds of shite has broken ok the interior. Brake issues. Instruments. Radio. One of the Duramax caught fire and burned the entire engine bay and melted some of the cab.

Seats are horrible. Horrible

Edit: the interior really feels like it was made by power wheels....

I was a Z71/Chevy man for years until I test drove the new Z71 vs F150. I'm driving a Ford now. Is yours one of the new twin turbo 6 bangers? If so, how do you like it.

Yes, and I like it. i don't drive like a maniac, so it has plenty of pickup for me. It can pull my 22' bay boat with no trouble. It rides smooth. I really don't ahve any complaints.

With the Z71, I didn't see any real upgrades from my 07 outside of the sinc system (or whatever Chevy calls it) and it was only a prototype of what Ford has been doing for a while.

Just bought an F150 Crew Cab fx4 and love it so far. Loved the Chevys back in the 90s and evidently so did Chevy. They are still there.
