Owned one black vehicle before, and will never do it again.

Are you telling me the cost of goods have increased in 31 years?

Sounds like something that adds 10k to the sticker

Eh, I've got a black on black vehicle. The key is max tint and not facing your windshield into the sun without a cover.

it was likely a single cab, cloth bench seat, maybe a tape player, and A/C if you were lucky. Maximum of 240 HP assuming you opted for the 7.4L 454 v8.
its pretty tough to compare the price of vehicles now to 30 years ago with the advancements in technology like touch screens, adaptive cruise control, power seats, heated seats, cooled seats, anti lock brakes, etc.

I'm not a fan of the body color grille. I like a little chrome myself.

it has a little too much of the "hey look at me!" factor. If you're older than 21 don't buy that

I hate the chrome handles and mirrors along with the grill, bumpers, wheels etc. too much. . That's why I haven't bought a new truck yet. Can't find anything I like without all the damn trashy chrome.

if you're a ford man, be sure you get a good amount of time behind the wheel of a chevy/gmc before you switch. I have a '13 ford and my FIL has a '15 GMC. I borrowed his for a week while mine was having hail damage repaired. Would not trade even though his is newer and nicer trim level. Didn't find it as comfortable and lots of little things that I just didn't like as much, most of which I didn't notice till I got more than the odd hour or two behind the wheel. YMMV but just a word of warning.

I disagree. The only part that's a pain is keeping it clean.

agree on the tint. current vehicle is black/gray with heavy tinting and it is MUCH cooler than my previous silver/gray vehicle with minimal tinting

Yall acting like it stays 100 degrees everyday of the year. It really bad 3-4 months out the year and not even everyday if those months.
And if you have remote start and vented seats it's not even bad at all.

6.2L 130,000 miles tops. 3rd one with bent valves. $3400.00. I thought Dodge was bad.
