shite's overrated AF.

Before my fusion surgery, I was eating 'em like candy and washing 'em down with bourbon.

I was still in pain, and coherent as always. Obviously wasn't driving...

Day after my surgery, I never took another one.

You've gotta be a weak candyass to get hooked on them.

Skimmed a few pages and nobody has said versed. I’ve been through enough to have needed all the meds listed. Accident prone kid and silly circumstances have put me in all sorts of painful situations. I’ve received everything from dilaudid to liquid Demerol concoctions for a broken femur. I guess bc I was pediatric case they gave liquid? I’ve had morphine pumps and fentanyl injections for bowel obstruction or surgery recovery. The answer is versed.

Lortab and soma

Got t-boned and my back was hurting, rehab wasn't doing much, lortab and soma helped me sleep like a baby. My wife taught I was addicted. Stopped without problems when my back got better.

Hip replacement 2 weeks ago, propofol ( Michael Jacksons fatal cocktail ) to put me to sleep. Soon as I got home oxycontin to keep the pain away. Only problem after a couple days I was so plugged up it wasn't funny.

I had Dilaudid every few hours and a morphine pump, (I think) for a rare bacterial infection that formed a cyst on my spine and put me in septic shock. The pain was so bad that when they stopped it for surgery I almost had a heart attack from just the pain. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Originally when I got the dilaudid it killed the pain and I went to lala land, the last time it didn’t do anything. They gave me fentanyl right before surgery.

soma

I remember getting prescribed some soma back in college for back spasms. Couldn't understand why so many people got themselves in trouble with muscle relaxers as they didn't seem to have a noticeable effect. Then I think I took two doses a little too close together and suddenly I understood.

I took a Valium (they prescribed 2) before my vasectomy. I walked up to the desk to check in and pay my co-pay. The receptionist said it would be $75. I replied sternly, damn! How much for just one?!

She didn’t find it near as funny as the lady behind her sitting at a desk. The lady behind her died laughing. They both told me to go ahead and take the other one!

I sent them a cookie basket the next week.

I had morphine for my leg surgery years ago. Made me vomit. They had to give me anti-nausea meds so I could eat.

Pre-Propofol conscious sedation for egd/colon was a demorol/verset cocktail. It was amazing! And lasted a good portion of the day.

had a procedure yesterday, repeat of same procedure from nine months ago, anesthesiologist was joking about how good the drugs were going to make me feel and I told him that’s what he said last time but was knocked out so quickly I didn’t get to enjoy it very long, he changed up his recipe and gave me something in pre-op that was glorious but didn’t knock me out, and there was a bit of a delay for my table so I enjoyed for a while and when they came to roll me in he said he’d finish the job on the table, when they put the mask on me, which was also nice, it was pretty much lights out

I had versed during an emergency surgery and it didn’t work. I remember everything. They had to strap me down because I was trying to tell them I was awake.
