When you’re in your car, you’re either driving or waiting on someone. There’s nothing else you really need to be doing in your car. There’s no mystery about what’s going on in your car.

I rode with an expired inspection sticker for a few days and was paranoid I'd get pulled over. Taking all sorts of backroads just to get to work and shite. I keep everything current now. I don't know how people ride with expired inspections, licenses, registration and dark as shite tint and not be paranoid about it. I'm not looking to give away my money on a ticket that could have been avoided.

Louisiana State boys gave me a $375 gift certificate for illegal tinted windows in 2009.
I was 1.5 miles from home, and he wouldn't allow me to peel it off.

I will take the same approach to illegal window tint as with driving without insurance: vehicles should be impounded until the illegal part is cleared up.

Both are an active choice to say: “screw the law, I am superior to laws, rules, and standards.” Both should have the book thrown at them.

The difference between 20 % and 5 % is significant. I'll never get another vehicle of mine with 20 %.

I do not recommend any tint on the front windshield if you opt for 5 % on all other windows.

Having my tint "uniform" is something as I prefer, as I do not like the look of darker tint on my back window, lighter tint on my rear windows, and even lighter tint on my front windows (if one is following Louisiana law).

My vehicle is registered in another state, however, I haven't had one encounter with any police officer regarding my tint. In other words, I've not been stopped strictly for my tint, prior to them knowing I don't have to follow the laws of Louisiana.

I use curtains

I have 20 on my side windows. No issues.
If I get pulled over I’m telling the cop that it’s summer in Louisiana and 40% ain’t cutting it. Do what ya gotta do officer.
