20% on my commuter car. Inspection sticker expired in June. Probably just going to scrape it off and ride without one

When I first read this I thought it was illegal lint,……got me thinking,….
Officer, I know I cleaned the dryer’s lint filter before I put this load of clothes in. I can show you the lint filter it is practically clean,……pulling it out,…..
Oh my gosh, I do not know where all that lint came from officer! I promise you I cleaned it! Yes, my wife would kill me if she knew I did not clean that filter, and I am not that kind of person, I CLEAN my lint filter!
(Backing up slowly), I am not going to let you take me in for this!!! You are going to have to find another fall guy!!! ( leaps in laundry chute), AIEEEEE!!!!

Friend of mine was stopped by Louisiana State Police with too dark of a tint. Cop made him peel off driver and passenger tint off on the spot. Never heard of that, thought they just wrote you a ticket.

Figures it would be LSP. They are useless except to harass. Maybe they need to be pulling over paper plates. I notice all of the ugly small service type vans that have solid windows. Why are those allowed, yet decent tint isn’t.

5 all around on my truck and 40 on my full windshield. Similar on all my vehicles for the last 20yrs and have gotten 2 tickets. 1 in Baton Rouge when I was in college and I got one passing through Des Allemands about a year ago. I’ll gladly pay $250yr to keep it though, since it greatly reduces the temps in my truck through the summer and looks great too.

Never had problems with cops but have had a place give me a hard time to get an inspection sticker

A little more to it than that. Went through it myself.
Have to have a specific condition allowed by LSP.
Have to have a formal printed online and filled out by your dr and signed by you with vehicle info, etc.
Have to have a fingerprint card done.
Have to send in the original form and fingerprint card plus I believe $200 to LSP.
They decide Yay or nay on your exemption.
If yay, they send you a form stating you are exempt, this exemption must be renewed every 6 years.
Also you still are not allowed to tint your windshield below the LS1 line or whatever it is.
So yea alot of bs for 6 years exemption.

I bought my truck (2017 Rocky Ridge Chevy) with illegal tent already on it. I bought it in Shreveport and I live in Arkansas. I’ve never had anyone say anything about it, and I’ve been pulled over a couple of times since I’ve had it.
