It truly hurts my heart to watch it….

There is one image of a young lady who held her skirt down while she jumped. One last show of humanness and decent as she made the ultimate choice.
I can’t imagine what they went through.

Remember why we went there.
Now, remember how we left.
Try not to be infuriated.

We lost. Osama won. His goal of bankrupting the country will happen. Money printer going brrr, freedoms sacrificed on the altar of safety, politicians lining their pockets endlessly. We have already been driven off the cliff, there's no stopping the decline. 9/11 has precipitated all of it.
The future will look like what happened in burma/myanmar. Just my opinion.

I can’t watch it. To this day, I will cry if I see it.
My heart breaks for those poor people in the tower, pentagon and flight 93.

won’t be long and we will get hit again in a much more devastating attack. One could make the argument that Civid 19 is that attack and we’re too stupid to realize the evil intent.
And are we too stupid to realize that, like 9/11, the pandemic should be a unifier?

I said it then and I will say it now. We should have nuked those motherfrickers and wiped them off the face of the earth. Made me absolutely sick to watch them dancing in the streets celebrating that day.

Yeah. those images are forever etched in my mind. I have no desire to rewatch that. My heart breaks for those unfortunate souls.

I was 5 when this happened and I still remember watching it on TV with my mom.
I didn't fully understand what had happened back then obviously but I will never forget that day.

What Osama Bin Laden and his ilk did was pure evil.
I know the people who died in the Towers were not thinking so much. When things happen you just react. You do what you're supposed to do in that situation which is very different from one person to the next.
It's like combat or maybe a shooter comes into the grocery store. You just do what you can when it happens. Some freeze up. Some jump (take action). Some continue to look for another way out (take another kind of action) and got either burned up or suffocated. The ones who died moved on to the next thing after this life and I know they are at peace. More at peace than a lot of us in this country and in the world right now.
Whatever they did individually was the right thing for them to do. I judge no one especially in that situation. I used to get angry over these things but no more. It's pointless for me. There's no use in any of that for me any longer.
But, I don't forget it and I do my best going forward to try to be a good citizen and try my best to vote for who I think is the best candidate for all positions I can vote for and leave the rest in God's hands.
God is the only one who knows all the facts. I leave everything up to Him. If I need to take action, I'll do it. If I need to be still, I'll do that too.

Wish we could somehow help shoulder their pain. What an excruciating decision to jump.
Terrible and every year just re-pisses us off that we were attacked in this way.
Anyone know how many people were ultimately evacuated from both towers?

I've seen so much on 9/11 over the years that nothing is new to me about it anymore. It was an insane thing to go through and I'll never forget it... rehashing it on every anniversary just gets me all pissed off.
Same. I've seen literally everything there is about it.. all the docs and footage.. on youtube.

You may be able to make a philosophical argument for that (not saying that I'd necessarily agree), but as the situation on the ground ended up, he didn't win so much. Too a couple rounds to the face while not in what they'd consider a glorified death. He was dropped right near his porn collection, which I'm sure he'd have done anything not to have died in that pitiful manner.

We should bomb Pakistan to commemorate. Of course since Potato has no nads this will not happen.

I thought I’d seen it all but the Nat Geo 9/11 1 day in America was amazing. This gave me new footage I’d never seen especially of the planes flying into the buildings. It also gave you the sounds on the ground - from outside the buildings to the lobby sounds of the jumpers crashing as described above.
But it also gave great stories of heroism and people who became permanently intertwined that day. It was awful to watch but heartwarming at times too. I enjoyed watching it.

There's another documentary called "The Falling Man". It is interesting as they try to identify a specific person that day.
