I get not being into watches. And obviously there's a price limit that makes things ridiculous. But I think people confuse expensive watch with "flashy" watch. Expensive watches aren't expensive because of diamonds and gold. They are expensive because of precision, complexity, and reputation (Along with looks. but like everyone has said, Target can make a watch that looks the same).

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any watch. They are obsolete , and it basically says that you dont know how to manage your money.
