In the other thread I said we needed to wait for details before shitting on the cops. We have the details now. I hope those cops all get murdered

Pretty sure the Supreme Court has already ruled that police are not obligated to help anyone.

They are cowards and should be fired for any policy violations that can be scraped up.

Unfortunately, legal action will not happen. These coward arse pussies will keep on living while the kids suffered and the parents bury them.

Yes legal action will. It will keep them from conducting an "internal investigation" and hiding the facts. Facts will be public knowledge and they will be shamed in view of everyone. This will aid in future events.

Not much blame going on for the shooter or his parents.

Nearly 20 officers were in a hallway outside of the classrooms for more than 45 minutes before border patrol agents used a master key to open a door and confront the gunman, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos.

Disgusting

From the WSJ

“The decision was a mistake and it is unclear how many lives it may have cost - said director, Steven McCraw”

No, MF’ER It’s VERY CLEAR how many lives it costed. GFY!

There were kids in the classrooms with the killer that called 911 several times from 12:03 to 12:51 and these people did nothing. Just sickening

As a former LEO I am both appalled and disgusted by every officer on scene that day!

There is no way, I pull up on scene and just stand there. You know the risks when you took the job, do your fricking job!

City council needs to call a special session and cut their fricking budget.

I heard a clip earlier where the White House said they were "going to be patient for all the facts to come out and don't think there should be a DOJ investigation at this time".

That's mighty different than their usual tune when a white cop shoots (justifiably in the vast majority of incidents) a black person. The DOJ would be in the Uvalde PD building today if one of their guys shot a minority.

find it really strange that we've had several these take place where the local police seemingly allowed it to happen.

Pretty simple. Their top priority is making sure they live to go home at the end of the day.

Their job is to make sure WE live to go home at the end of the day.

So basically they just flatly ignored kids dialing 911 from inside the classrooms and opted to chill outside.

frick them

Blaming the Teacher who let shooter in

This is a major frick up.

The police made some real head scratcher choices, but unlocking doors to schools is unforgivable in today's world.

Are you referring to the press conference or the responses on here?

The shooter was a horrible piece of shite that in a just world, would’ve just offed himself, but he was a cowardly pussy that took out his anger on children. Burn in hell freak.

His parent(s) should be locked up right now cause they had to know he was a loser freak that had already said he’d shoot up a school.

The police deserve all of the blame for their response to the situation.

There. I hope all of the blame is attributed to all of the parties to your liking.

I agree. However, I still feel a need to know whether the delay here actually altered potential outcomes and lost lives. If there is an argument to be made that it did, I will have a much harder time absolving the officers involved.

Even if all the kids that he shot were already shot by the time the cops arrived, getting them medical attention ASAP is then the next priority. That's where lives could have been saved

No social or political clout in that.

Don’t know if the courts are going to be able to provide civil or criminal remedies for the families and you wonder if some of them won’t take things into their own hands with the individual police officers.

So basically this loser police force/wanna be SWAT force just gets paid to eat Chimichangas and conduct Touch a Truck community outreach. All about this Walking Tall BS mentality but when it hits the fan, do nothing and cower. These people are starting to look really really bad, I don’t even want to say what I think should happen to them.
