May be Germans but I have never seen it before
r/LateStageCapitalism
Seems like a bunch of low-achieving people complaining about having to work for a living basically.
Also, I google "Late Capitalism" and this is how they define it.

This sub is for:
1. The horrible things that the capitalist system forces people to do in order to survive within it.
2. Zesty memes, videos and GIFs that critique the social, moral and ideological decay of western capitalist culture.
3. The larger trend of corporate immorality and the increasing commodification and marketing of things that should not be commodified or marketed (such as social justice movements like the Starbucks 'race together' or Gay Pride).
4. Mocking the general hypocrisy and irrationality of Late Capitalism as it accelerates the process of digging its own grave.
5. Sardonically mocking the Bourgeoisie, especially Donald Trump.

"Late capitalism" is a term used by neo-Marxists to refer to capitalism from about 1945 onwards, with the implication that it is a historically limited stage rather than an eternal feature of all future human society. This period includes the era termed the golden age of capitalism.

Nothing I hate worse than a god damn Marxist.
Posted on 7/7/16 at 7:35 am to stout
just a bunch of wannabe marxists trying to seem edgy in spite of their philosophy being proven to be an abject failure

I've never been "triggered" by the opinions of others, whether I agree with them or not.
That said, their definition of "Late Capitalism" isn't an unfair one. Especially when you look at the current climate surrounding international trade agreements.
I mean, the GOP's presidential nominee (who is supposed to be the "pro-business" candidate) has been actively bad-mouthing globalization for the last month... that's a significant departure from the supposed capitalist ideology of the party.

They left off corporate welfare being twice the cost of actual welfare. Then again, that basically gets mentioned by very few people except IB Freeman on TD. Opinions, no fricks given, shitty policy-frick that! I want reform of any and ALL types of welfare.

Are they celebrating late stage capitalism? Because they should. It just means they are one step closer on the spectrum to communism.
