Sounds a lot like unfortunate timing on that deal.

I get that lots of rich people are phony, but I'm not sure what you mean. He was seen regularly driving it (not being driven) around Wal-Mart HQ in Bentonville - I mean until very near the end, IIRC.

At a certain point, perception IS reality. He was definitely not known as an extravagant spender, despite his wealth and this was just one manifestation of it. He lived in a modest home on the water, built in 1958. He drove that pickup truck on most weekdays. His office was 8x12.

At a certain point, folks just are who they are.

the owner of community coffee used to drive an old station wagon he inherited from his father. Some people live modestly

This sounds fishy. What Jaguar is 2k per month?

Probably more like a no contract rental, not a "lease", at that rate

You could probably get an f type R lease close to 2k especially if high miles.

absolutely, a good friend of mine makes over $1m/year and is month to month. He pays his ex wife $25,000/month, he has a child with a rare genetic disorder who is in and out of hospitals constantly, the kid is 24 and been handicapped his whole life literally insane things like 2-3 weeks in the hospital with pneumonia for a couple hundred k or putting the kid under for dental surgeries for huge money, it's always one thing or another. Then he has 2 daughters, one is in college he pays for it and her apartment and then another daughter is in and out of drug rehab, he paid $68,000 for a 1 mo stint for drug rehab 3x for her in the last 24 months....refuses to give up hope it will work, it just seems she constantly relapses. He has an internet based business out in California so the tax rates are disgusting as is. Then being single he's constantly dating broads off sugar daddy sites, it's a mess. The man has money, he gets huge distributions every 2 weeks from his internet business but bc of all the crazy expenses of dating, his kids, and ex he's month to month. I'm not saying homeless bc he's making payments on 2 homes but he's literally got nothing saved, like sub $100k cash at any time, and this business saves his arse every 2 weeks and he just can't get out of his own way, it's amazing actually

4 pages and no pics of old girl back in the day. The OT sucks these days.

You suck at stalking. I found a pic of the actual misses last night. If you really want to find it, she was in Playboy's Women of the Internet in 1996, when she went by "Lucy Lipps."

I will never understand how someone who can make 14 million in one year and be broke two years after. If you make that much money in one year that should be saved up to last a very long time. I guess it is because I am still in school and broke but still.

Greed. Some people will spend as much as they make and then some, regardless of the amount. Made 14M in a year but probably spent 15M on trips, cars, houses, and loans out the arse.
