How long does it take for a country to recover after being shut down? This is a mess for everyone. We have stores that still can’t stay stocked. Hopefully we can recover from this.

lol, not really. This is more particular to California and the pnw.
The just outright living on the sides of roads in cars and busted campers.
You don’t have to allow this in your neighborhood.
The entire time I lived in Nola I never saw something like this. Yeah, tent city under the overpass, but not this.
So go head and bring me the pictures of people just living on the side of the road like this in Louisiana because I haven't fricking seen it.

Don’t stop anywhere near the airport at all. So many people stop for gas and or a quick bite before/after a flight. As someone who flew into OAK/SFO a good bit from 2019-2022 I avoided ever stopping around here. On multiple instances my coworkers had stuff stolen out of their cars.

I fly to Oakland about twice a year for work. And I use to stop at that exact gas station to pick up a drink and snacks before I get on the interstate to travel to Pittsburg. This place is fkn scarry! I don't stop here anymore! This hole area by the airport is fkn Nasty! Last time I passed right in front of there I swear i saw a body in the ditch, there were cops looking around and nasty homeless people everywhere. The Parking lot at the old Raiders stadium looks like a homeless campground.
