I went and got a hair cut today (first time since February). Small talk with the person cutting my hair and she mentioned she kept hoping the governor would prolong the shutdown because she did not want to Go back to work. Her BF is a stock trader and had been working through this ordeal so she doesn’t need the money to make ends meat.
How do you wish that millions of people can’t go back to work while you don’t want to just because? She called it a taste of early retirement.
