Yep 100%. I’d be fine if we went 6 months without a drop. I am happiest when we have no rain as far as the forecast goes. I really need to probably move to a dry/desert area. Would be happy if I didn’t see rain again in my life

Just said the same thing. Lived here forever and am sick of this jungle weather.

The flooding I have seen online looks crazy in BR. Is it localized and I am just seeing some or is it flooding all over the area?

I think it’s localized. Some of the same areas having problems with a few new spots

We haven’t gotten much in Metairie. It’s crazy to hear how bad it is just a few miles west.

I don't mind the occasional rain but screw this.

We moved last year and immediately in the summer I noticed it did not rain every damn day and it was glorious.

Rainfall totals around 5 inches since 3am where I am outside BR.
No flood threat, but I’ve never seen this much water in the lower spots here. Might need to install a gutter out back eventually.
It’s pretty soggy.

We are still in a drought here wish the rains would start up further west to help you all out.

I will never understand why anyone in South Louisiana bitches about a lack of rain. Tht is one thing we never have a shortage of.
These two things just don't add up.
