How soft are we when people can't deal with this for 2 weeks.

It is a weak troll, but like all trolls there is an element of truth. There are things that can be opened up with common sense restrictions, and what is appropriate will differ by location. These state wide shut down and stay at home orders are ridiculous.

Okay this BS has gone on long enough. I can't go to the gym, watch sports or go out to bars on the weekend. My stocks are tanking and I have to work from home. For what I ask you? What are we saving with all these sacrifices? Whatever it is isn't worth it. Especially since they are talking about cancelling CFB

While the OP didn't articulate it in the most compelling or rational manner, the underlying sentiment is defensible. Every day that passes in this state of societal paralysis is inflicting monumental economic carnage on a global scale. I've read articles from credible sources suggesting that the global recession could stretch well into next year if the social distancing regimes persist another month. There can be no doubt that the measures taken to counteract the spread of coronavirus are, on an hour by hour basis, undermining the world economy. And yet the benefits of those measures remain nebulous. I've seen no comprehensive cost benefit analysis proving that the lives saved outweigh the broader consequences. Further, it is unclear to me why there isn't a viable middle path which allows the economy to rekindle while the most vulnerable isolate themselves.

A 28 year old in Florida has died from COVID19
LINK

On the news this morning (CBS), they were interviewing an ER doctor who said there was a 27 year old who came in with all of the symptoms. Within a few hours he went from talking and being able to move around to being on a ventilator. He was perfectly healthy by all accounts. Several hours later he died before they were even able to get him tested.

I'm not normally an advocate of suicide but in this case I strongly recommend it. Without lift, there is no life. A life without sports on TV is not worth living. Telecommuting is the definition of a living hell.

Apropos for the times, just take two tablespoons of FishMox along with three tablets of Chloroquine Phosphate bis in die until morbidity is attained. Your suffering ends, Trump takes another hit for his Rx cocktail suggestion; win - win.
