Did we skip web 2 or are we doing it now?? Seriously I have no clue. If that is how people want to live, it's not hurting me.

Web 2.0 would be things like social media and smart appliances. Web 3.0 has multiple definitions but is based upon blockchain technology to create a world like "Ready Player One."

I am not very familiar with web3 but I have hard time believing it will happen anytime soon on a large scale. I just don’t see your average website using blockchain instead of SQL. But I may be way off base though
ETA either way I still don’t understand why the OP put web3 in the title unless this really is some web3 boot camp thing.

I think he did it since everyone wants to be "cutting edge" so everyone says they're working on Web 3.0 projects in order to stand out.
