1) They get a cashier's check for whatever you tell them to get it for.
2) They then get the cashier's check canceled as "lost or stolen".
3) They send you the cashier's check.
4) You, thinking that you have a cash equivalent non-cancelable instrument in hand, send them the item.
5) You are then fricked.
6) By the time you and the banks know anything's up, they and your item are long gone.
