Thinking about getting rid of Cable, for those who have PSvue or Sling

Just curious which of the two will be the better choice.
I essentially watch sports channels for live sports (ESPN, FS1, SECnetwork), FoxNews, TNT/TBS, HBO and my local channels (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC).

This. However, Sling has the SEC Network on their basic plan. Vue does not.

Sling you have to get their "orange + blue" package in order to get ESPN and the Fox networks + pay extra for the sports package in order to get the sec network and all of those I'm pretty sure.
I don't think you'll be able to stream local channels except in MAJOR cities and you're better off just getting an antenna to hook up to your tv for that.
I stream with DirecTV Now currently and am much happier than I was with Sling, but I was also luck and got in early enough with them to get their 3rd tier bundle for the introductory (grandfathered) price of $35 a month.

Attic antenna, tivo roamio, and PS vue is what we have. Saving a ton of money a month

ETA DTV Now has the channels you want but they don't have a DVR feature yet. You will need to install an OTA antenna in your attic to get the network channels.

same and same. now i have DirecTv now and an HD antenna.
initially there was some lagtime, like a 3-5 minute delay usually in the evening time. I have not noticed that at all in the last 2-3 weeks.....for $35/mo, well worth being the guinea pig while they fixed some streaming issues.

Nice. What about live locals? Vue just got WAFB and the others are on-demand.

DirectTV Now
That's what I have. It has the regional sports channels, as well as ESPN and FoxNews. You can only have 2 streams going at once though, so that won't work for some people.
