You think they’re not all trying to out-pope each other? Trying to show their holiness and leadership and scholarship but at the same time trying to somehow seem super humble? What a weird situation that is, regardless.

I would assume it’s a lot of, if I was Pope I would focus on your area more, rebuild or refurbish x, y, and z. I heard your proposal and I think it’s great, I don’t know why we aren’t doing it.
