Jesse is probably the nicest dude I’ve met.

Pretty crazy how the UFC has guys that turn to straight killers in the cage.

Lots of people hating on Monroe.

I’m sure all these people hating on Monroe live in Highland Park, Texas or La Jolla or Jupiter, Florida or somewhere really awesome.

I’ll admit it’s not Manhattan but people in this thread have given plenty of things to do for a person who’s only gonna be there one week.

I know this is a dig, but I love the Monroe airport. It’s about the easiest airport experience you’ll ever have.

Yep. Nobody has heard of it even though Judy helped start it, it's literally named after her and they've been in business since 2010

I have lived in Monroe/West Monroe for 52 years. I graduated from high school with Judy's son. I have never heard of this store.

Not that great imo. They still have a good burger but the roast beef poboy blows now. Magic Grill on 18th is a much better option.

I agree, Ray’s hasn’t been good for a while now. I actually stopped in back in March to give it another shot. Aside from the food not being good, the big picture of the ducks on the back wall was gone. Magic grill is the place to go.

Bowling, couple of nice breweries, pecanland mall, movies, Kiroli park, general shopping, a number of nice places to eat.

Yea, if you wanna pay $25 dollars for a roast beef poboy that has one thin piece of roast beef on a thick bun.

Yeah, not really impressed with Magic Grill poboy.

I will be honest, I think Portico has the best poboy in Monore.

Watch nude shoppers at the local Walmart sounds fun. You’re welcome!

Best lunch place is in a neighborhood outside of West Monroe called Simply Southern.
They don't advertise. It's all word of mouth and there will be a yard full of cars waiting on them to open at 11. Best meat and 2 around. Their chicken is IMHO the best there is.

Go shopping at Simmons Sporting Goods in Bastrop, about 30 miles north of Monroe.

well you're not a woman i dont think so there are likely lots of women's boutiques in monroe you haven't heard of.

also when's the last time you needed to order a silver teapot? judy was smart to pivot away from silver only and add clothing & jewelry since nobody really buys silver anymore.
