A pair of cardinals shows up ever February/March outside our porch.

I yelled at my wife to hurry up and come see upon seeing them for the first time this past spring. I was really excited.

I was being a smart arse. Trying to be funny. I'm sorry. Hopefully I'll get to 70 plus.

Kenny sang it best. Everyone wants to go to heaven but no body wants to go now. My fourth quarter clock just started ticking.

And you look up at them and you realize they are closer to 50 than 30.

“Just Like Heaven” by the Cure was my favorite song in ‘88, and in my Top 5 now.

My teenage kids were perplexed at all the small plastic cases they found in the attic. It was my cassette tape collection.

A good spatula is a treasure.

My wife broke my favorite and I spent years trying to find a good replacement.

My now 39 yr. old nephews kids, both teens, couldn't figure out how to make a call on a rotary dial phone the first time they saw one a few years ago.

went to a high school reunion recently, looked at the people there and thought, man, these people are old!

I got an invitation for my 50th that was to be held in 2020 but was cancelled due to COVID.

I really wasn't planning to go since I had only gone to my 10 year reunion in 1980 and had no desire to see those folks again. Over the years so many of my former friends have either died off or moved away.

Probably wouldn't recognize most of them anyway unless they had a name tag with a picture of them from the Yearbook pinned to their chest.
