Coast to Coast AM Rip Art

I listened many many nights. Nothing quite like taking inventory in a starlit parking lot at 2 AM while Art Bell is talking about aliens, time travel, and witches.

Would volunteer for nights for this reason. Had a pocket AM radio with a single earbud setup. Midnight to 4am would fly by.

Highly recommend Sudoku puzzles. It gets me through working nights and keeps my brain busy.

Ramon Noodles

That made me chuckle more than it should have

Side note:

My wife is from the far reaches of Nebraska and still pronounces it "ray-men" noodles like a bumpkin even though I've casually corrected her about a dozen times.

"Oh you want to make him RAH-men for lunch? RAH-men?"

Wife: "yes he's been on a raymen noodle kick lately"

FFS. Its pretty much the only thing that legitimately annoys me about her

I do a lot of free work, promoting my content and promoting athletes on social media; when I’m not writing.

Need to start writing more because I’m in a bind

My BIL just retired from working night shift maintenance at AEDC where they do the wind tunnel testing. $40 an hour and he sat in an office watching movies until he got a call to fix something.

3am to sunrise was always difficult not falling asleep

The worst was the last hour of your shift. That’s the longest hour. I used to bring my automobile and change the oil and rotate the tires. That all changed when I transferred from the fossil plants to the Nuclear plants. It was back to watching the clock drag on

I used to read horror novels. Stephen King and Anne Rice kept me awake for the full shift.
