I'd say it depends on how it is done. I'm not going to just eat cream cheese with my shrimp as like a dip, but a good jalapeno popper is pretty damn solid using whatever protein you want to use with it.

Desserts that just seem like wasted calories. Wasted calories is when the bland flavor just isn’t worth the calories consumed:
Strawberry shortcake
Butter cookies
Sugar cookies
Most Italian cookies
Rice pudding

Sweet potatoes anyway but pie form
Sweet pickle relish (yuck). We put dill relish in our potato salad.
Raw onion and raw bell pepper. I love both of these cooked but I can’t stand the crunch of them raw.

Indian food.
I think Indian food is very similar to Cajun food. It's generally a spicy meat gravy served over rice. I like it. The bread is very good too. I forgot what it's called but it's like a cross between a tortilla and pita bread and when its hot and fresh its delicious. And their rice is better than ours. I almost always use jasmine rice now when I cook.

Naan is the name for the bread (or maybe roti but naan is most common type) and yea, some good naan is pretty addicting. Though a lot of Indian food isn't a gravy based dish. That is the most popular style here, but there are a few other regional styles that have drastically different flavor profiles (if nobody could tell, I love Indian food

However, a good fish taco is fantastic assuming you enjoy fried fish in general (it is typically fried, you can get blackened or grilled too). Lightly fried, served with some type of cabbage/slaw, maybe some pickled onions, pico, and then a light cream sauce like a jalapeno cream or something or avacado cream
That’s part of the problem. I don’t eat fried foods. And I can’t eat cabbage, slaw, or avocado. And since tartar has mayonnaise in it, I can eat it, but only occasionally and in small amounts.

Not being able to eat 90% of the ingredients would make things a bit more difficult

Ranch dressing
This, and ketchup.
Idc if ketchup is on a burger or hotdog, but i won't add it myself.
Ranch is the most overrated food in this world.

will not touch mayonnaise with a ten foot pole. It is just liquid fat and is nasty
Ever since I read on here the purpose of mayonnaise (to serve as a moisture barrier between wet ingredients, like pickles or tomatoes, and the bread I learned to use it sparingly and properly.
Mayo never grossed me out but I can see how some people dislike it, and I certainly don’t like a lot of it on there.

I love Indian food (literally just ate a plate of tikka masala and lamb rogan josh), but I find that when people dislike it, it's the spices that they're not into.
Garam masala, curry powder/paste, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, caraway seeds, cardamom, turmeric, etc. Those have really strong flavors and they're not widely used in savory American cooking, so I think people are just really not used to them.
Many people I know who now love Indian food hated it when they first tried it, myself included. Definitely seems to be acquired for a lot of folks.
