Walking to the Gatti's buffet from shitty apartments and houses behind West Chimes...then hitting the Northgate bars..stumbling into Louie's for late night, and walking back...

SIAP, but:

- using a slide rule;
- smoking in the Union;
- compulsory ROTC;
- compulsory Saturday classes for Freshmen;
- 25 cent drafts, 35 cents for the can (12 oz);
- $8.00 for a lid (full ounce) of dope and free LSD with each purchase;
- $1.88 all you can eat at Pancho's Nicholson Dr.;
- no herpes, AIDS, condyloma or chlamydia;
- the French Quarter before it became Disneyland.

Did Silver Moon Cafe have anything besides Red beans n rice or Spaghetti (in HUGE portions)?
I can't remember.
Just that is was good, it was a lot, and it was cheap.

Smothered chicken, jambalaya, gumbo, meatloaf,fried chicken and biscuits in mommas love gravy..that I remember
