This is going way back:
Jack Sabins “Goal post” on chimes
He helped a lot of students with jobs
This was before he had the fine restaurant on Airline
Going to the club across the river to hear and dance to SugarBoy Crawford
Hearing the drunks going by the north stadium dorm yelling to us inside “how do you like this place” and us throwing water on them

Natty Night at the field between the Natatorium and Nicholson. Endless kegs of Natty Light the night before one of the home football games each year. Bring your own cup or buy a solo cup there (donations optional) and fill up as much as you want. Was just one big party. I'm not sure when it started, who paid for all the kegs, or how long it went on for. I know it was going on in the 00's. Would love to know more details if anyone cares to share.

Using pay phones at the bottom of the union.

Recording lectures onto a cassette tape.

Burning CDs of songs off Napster to listen to on a Walkman.

Renting movies.

Not constantly taking pictures of self and others.
