What I really like is seeing people's reactions, especially here.

I don’t defend the statue simply because it’s historical, and I think it does honor Lee.

I have mixed feelings about it, however the state of Virginia is erasing a historical landmark. It has stood there for 130 years. It’s a monument to an era where surviving Confederate veterans were not only trying to justify the war but also justify losing it after so many of their comrades died in the conflict.

I wouldn't have known the statue was there if not for this action and thread so it doesn't really affect me but in terms of real world results this is a complete waste of time and effort. No one's life is going to improve because of it, some may feel like they "won" something and people will argue back and forth but in reality their lives won't change one bit.
This is basically virtue signaling that serves no real purpose but that seems to be all the rage nowadays. It's sad and disappointing but not particularly surprising
