His son Teddy, Jr. might bee a bigger baddass.

Fought in WW1. Came out of retirement to fight in WW2(21 years after being discharged). The oldest man(56 y/o) and the only general to storm the beach at Normandy. Survived D-Day but dyed a few weeks later if a heart attack. Buried with men at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.

Dumbass Teddy ran 3rd party and split votes with Taft and let Woodrow Wilson become President and destroy not only the US but Europe after WW1.

Yeah, there’s a little more to it than that. Taft was a shitty president who didn’t even want the job. But he was spineless and was allowing Republicans to roll back a bunch of progressive reforms made by TR.

Roosevelt ran against him, won the primaries, but the republicans wouldn’t nominate him. Because they hated him.

You can blame the Republican Party just as much as TR for Wilson being elected.

Fun fact: When he was 36 years old Teddy Roosevelt was the Police Commissioner for New York City.

Or the president that was a WW2 pilot that got shot down in a raid against the Japanese and had to wade in the ocean before being picked up by a submarine.

First half of his life he was a prissy pretty boy. Once he got into politics he became this tough SOB.

I seriously think that military experience (war time or not) should be a requirement to run for U. S. President. And make all 18-year-olds serve for two years. Boom - quality of future candidates instantly goes up.
