HOAs are there to prevent such atrocities! They would never allow yard signs of any type

I’ve read those signs are a signal that the wife is available for sex

You should amend this sign to

BLACK LIVES MATTER - unless they are in Chicago
WOMEN'S RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS - Who are you calling a woman?
NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL - Crossing a border illegally, is
SCIENCE IS REAL - Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina
LOVE IS LOVE - Unless you don't share my opinions
KINDNESS IS EVERYTHING - See above

some smart people are making $$$ taking advantage of gullible morons like your neighbor. throwing together shitty word art and drop shipping yard signs, shirts, stickers, etc and selling them on Facebook marketplace while there is demand for it

It is unwise and an unnecessary risk to put any sign in your yard.

I'm not a yard sign person either. The only one I can recall putting in my yard was when my kid got student of the month at school and I wanted to put it up to embarrass her.

My mom came by my house a few weeks ago when I wasn't home and my wife said she put a Trump 2020 sign in our yard. I was like wtf when I got home.

We aren't Bernie voters or progressives by any means but I don't want that in my yard

sure

all the political/social signs are just virtue signals

I've never felt the need to put one up

I see one similar to this popping up in my neighborhood.

Start listening to the police scanners and see how many Domestic Disturbance calls they get.

I wouldn't consider a candidate sign, virtue signaling. It's more of vote spreading/influencing. Now a sign saying "we believe in xxxxx in this house" is.

Most normal people don't.

In other words “don’t disagree with me and my stupid politics or it will be considered hate.”

It is, just not as overt as the one in the OP.

of course it is

not all virtue signaling is bad/annoying FWIW, but anytime you advertise support for a certain belief system, especially political or social, it is virtue signaling

if you put a political candidate sign in your yard, are you not saying "we believe in [insert politicians agenda] in this house"?

My HOA prohibits yard signs except for a house for sale or a short term announcement such as birthday, graduation, birth of baby and then it should only remain for a few days max.

One of the few things I appreciate about an HOA.

I'm really more of a libertarian than a Republican although I did vote for Trump.

I think political signs are dumb and not going to change anyone's opinion.

The last thing I want is some deranged leftist fire bombing my house because they are triggered by a sign
