They break during sex and you could have pre-jac, right? Doesn’t really mean it’s stupidity.
So is the thread saying you can’t have sex unless you’re preparing to have a kid? I mean I’m not religious, but I respect those who are.
Otherwise there are accidents that happen in life. If you run and fall, it’s an accident, you didn’t run and fall and it was on purpose.
Regardless I see both sides here and can agree to an extent.

Mrs. Hogwarts and I got pregnant 4 months after we got married. She tracked her period on an app on a kindle. The kindle died and she thought we were good to do the dirty with no birth control.

I called Amazon and blamed them for the pregnancy. Our daughter is awesome though so it all worked out.

You should never have sex with someone you wouldn't want to have a kid with. That's just factual logic. But sex feels great and people are stupid so they do it anyway. Many other species of animals have mating rituals and selective processes that help ensure the best genes are passed on. Humans just run around fricking anything like rodents because we're too stupid and lazy to understand and appreciate the ability to create life.

Running, while naked, and falling with your erect penis into an also naked woman, while wearing a faulty condom and unknowingly ejaculating into said woman while her birth control failed, is an accident. I grant you that.

Not upset at all, incredibly happy never thought I would never have another kid. But it wasn’t planned. It was an “event that happened by chance”. And less than a 1% of it ever happening again even with assistance I would say it was an incredible chance. Which is the definition of accident.

No, you knew there was a chance of it happening even if it is small.

Far too many people don't use birth control or protection which is why STD rates are way up.

Birth Control isn't 100%, but if someone does get knocked up while taking BC, would you consider that an accident?

No, because its still within the realm of statistical probability.

There are no accidents, no non-permanent birth control method is 100% effective, if you have sex there is the potential for a pregnancy however small it may be.

I was trying to pull out but my dick just took over my brain for about 10 seconds. It felt so good my dick just paralyzed my body. Boom, accident.

So basically, if people just started using the word “unplanned” instead of “accidental” you”re good?

Two types of people in this thread those who know that there are several differing definitions of accident and those who are stuck on definition number one. Merriam Websters dictionary even disagrees with you by using it in the sentence!

Most women that get pregnant on birth control pills were not taking them like they are supposed to. It is up to the woman taking them to understand how to properly take them.

You have to take it everyday at the same time each day. And you have to be aware of other meds, etc that can make the pill less effective (antibiotics, grapefruits, etc).

A car accident. When I drive my car, there is always a chance for a wreck to happen. Aka an accident

When I sit on my couch with my penis not in a girl, there is zero chance of me getting a girl pregnant because you know im not having sex

this isnt hard
