Top notch subtle brag, tough guy.

I see several mitigating factors in this case that haven't been examined by the so called legal experts in this board. Not the least of which is the manufacturer of the football.

Several other factors a sharp lawyer would home in on:

2. Liability of the football coach for training improper throwing/kicking technique.
3. The school district.
4.the accused's employer for creating a hostile work environment leading to her unavailability to supervise her kids due to excessive work load (emails after hours, etc...)
5. Maker of the fence
6. Installer of the fence. (I see at least 7 defective installation issues by looking at the pics posted)
7. Manufacture of the kids shoes who were kicking the ball
8. Retailer who sold the kid the shoes.

I'm full of shite. Although I hate what she did, and could have her job after a 1 minute phone call, the grumpy, old attorney is in a better position to take the fricking from a fb, attention whore than the mother of 3 young kids.

I wholly believe that she deserves the majority of blowback from what she did, but that will be up to grumpy, old attorney, because he has a homie in Lafayette that could snap his fingers, sending her to the unemployment line.

Do you guys really agree with somebody that would turn a personal, minor offense into a situation that cold lead to embarrassment, a diminished reputation, and loss of financial security? frick you guys if you do.

Btw, tiggerbaiter, did you ever study up on redhibition or hear back from the AG's office about as-is sales?

Don't put shite in writing (especially on your letterhead) if you can't take the consequences of the public reading it.

Very basic rule to live by. If you want to act a fool do it face to face or through a tel. call. Even then you can be recorded but less chance.

Exactly. I would question hiring somebody like this attorney if he’s not astute enough to abide by that principle. Once it is put in writing there’s no walking it back.

Do you really agree with an attorney sending a threatening letter on his law firm's letterhead to a new neighbor over some kids playing football in their own yard instead of just doing what a normal neighbor would do and just go knock on the door and ask the parent to have the kids not kick the ball in the same direction as his precious "designer fence"?

I don't agree with people going to leave negative business reviews all over the internet when they've never done business with the guy's firm. But I don't see anything wrong with the woman posting a picture of the letter to facebook to show what a prick her neighbor was being.

Scruffy agrees with you, but thinks both people in this situation are wrong.

This guy could have just gone and asked them politely, rather than sending a dickish letter using his law firm letterhead.

This woman is a douche for putting this on the internet.

Both of them are people Scruffy wouldn’t want to associate with.

I agree. Someone shared this on my Facebook page. The woman calls him the "crazy neighbor" in her post. She has nearly 3000 comments and it's been shared nearly 2500 times. She should have taken the high road.

She also left her address on the post and now it's public that her children play in the yard unsupervised. I guess she didn't consider that.

Not at all. This almost 70 year old man could have drawn a better option randomly from a hat.

But, does that mean that he deserves to have his reputation tarnished and his livelihood harmed because of a douchey letter?

I just cannot get down with the hypocrisy of thousands of people jumping behind a person, who could have chosen a better option herself, to try to destroy a person for not choosing a better option.

frick all you people if you think it's ok to do real harm to a person's well being for something so minor.

What's the "real harm"? The exposure that he's a jack asss?

Ever heard the term "You reap what you sow"?

The kids are not 2, they are plenty old enough to be playing outside with no one there. And maybe they are completely supervised. Maybe the letter writer is full of shite.
