The author:

Deirdre Coyle

Has also written gems such as:

quote:

In “The Water Cure,” Toxic Masculinity Is Making Women Physically Ill

quote:

Alissa Nutting on on the Horrors of Being a Woman on the Internet

quote:

Why is America Obsessed with Dead Girls?

quote:

Always Pee After Sex with a Merman

And I’m sure that she’d say that a woman has never been a villain in fiction. I’m sure she saw nothing wrong with the actions of say Cersei Lannister.

Literature criticism is in a really really bad way. The fact that she doesn’t believe Harry Potter is better than Neville fricking Longbottom is incredible to me. Harry Potter is an archetypal character and hero.

The follow-up book puts him back as a racist I think who just believed in the justice system. Therefore, not on the list.
