Hot new= hot used.

Six months and 10K will not lower the price $10K.

Only true on a hot ( in-demand) vehicle.

Generally,, the manufacturer will raise MSRP.

That's assuming no ADM, but the point stands

AWD has incredible stability on flooded roads as well. It greatly reduces hydroplaning. Almost every Subaru and Lexus LX and GX is AWD as well as Land Cruisers.

AWD is the shite. I don’t think I’ll ever have a non AWD daily.

That’s not how hydroplaning works.

At that point, just get a minivan. #makeminivanscool

Minivans are awesome.

And this is coming from a former Highlander owner.
Minivans (and their equivalent) give you everything your SUV could offer with more room.

I once said I'd never want a minivan

I was wrong,

I think a carnival may be my next buy. The staggered 2nd row gives a premium with kids while still giving a ton of room for extras

It probably has to do,with the high numbers of Nissan Altimas in the NOLA metro.

Fly up to Denver and you can find one fairly easy. The Palisade/Telluride are the 3 row SUV of choice up here.

It’s the same silly women that would never be caught dead in a minivan bc minivans are lame. As if anyone is impressed with a fricking Highlander lol

Exactly. Sorry soccer mom, nobody will think you’re an adrenaline junky BASE jumper bc you drive a Highlander.

the amount of 100 pound women I see driving alone in a gargantuan SUV is crazy. Its amazing that they convinced all those women that they need a vehicle that big and that they are capable of driving it safely

Always a strange take considering women make up 50 percent of the school bus drivers. That’s those gargantuan yellow vehicles that hold around 72 kids. Magically they get them to school safely every day.

maybe they want the safety of a larger vehicle.

Main reason my wife drives her Suburban is she feels safer than being in something smaller. Corollary to that is the extra room for her vet box, radiograph machine, dental floats, and other equipment. After driving a Honda accord I had as a rental I don’t blame her. Couldn’t stand how small and low to the ground that thing was.
She did consider a minivan for the extra room, but came across this used Suburban first and that was that.

This X 1000. Unless you’re paying for it, it’s really none of your concern.

I just got one in Houston, limited trim (blackout package), hybrid. We had to wait 3 months to purchase. When we were closing on the car in the dealership another sales person came up and asked if they can take pictures of it to show clients. The one we were buying was the only one on the lot.
