He leans that direction a bit but just to set up the retarded philosopher bit he’s trying to pull off.
And that isn’t even that fair if an assessment. If you’ve ever seen video of him from YEARS and years ago, he seems like a truly kind guy who is wildly thoughtful, but has his own way of relaying his wisdom.
The guy is absolutely hilarious, though.

He was on a flight I was from from LAX to IAH last fall. He was super engaging and nice to all of the people that approached him. I was a little surprised at how cool he was, mainly because you expect celebrities, or quasi-celebrities in this case, to be a little jerkish. It was a pleasant surprise.
