Just don't go to Jupiter, Florida to solicit a happy ending by some Asian chick.

Then again, maybe do that.

It's contagious for 4 days. You can stay home, but just make sure you spray lysol everywhere and keep your hands clean and wipe everything she touches. And sleep in another room.

If you had a flu shot you wouldn't have to worry as much.

Are you a 90 year old diabetic with COPD? If not, don’t be a dick.
Since your son goes to UF, please keep him from any vaccines and make him wait on her hand and foot.
Make sure he visits the basketball team ASAP when he returns.

(Can be infectious much longer than 4 days)

Tell her it will help break the fever. For every sickness or aliment she has afterwards you can always say "You know what's good for that, don't you?" with sly grin and head nod.

Give her ibuprofen and Powerade and tell her to stay in bed.

You stay out the room.

Win/win. Few days away without being bitched at for deserting her in her time of need.

“In sickness and in health” is in your wedding vows, so... ?

Start taking tamiflu and take care of your wife.

In sickness and in health. Take care of your wife or outsource to someone else. Don't just leave her to fend for herself.

The wife has a hellacious case of the flu. She came home with it yesterday and went to the Dr and had it confirmed positive for strain A.

Why would you go to the doctor for this?

All you accomplished is exposing a lot of others to it.
