I’m on Cape San Blas, FL with the family for a few days of beach & fishing.

Tropical Storm Nestor is headed right for us.

Most weather sources are saying 30 MPH winds with stronger gusts possible, yet TWC is sensationalizing it like there will be winds twice that strong with a storm surge.

Have they shown that clip of what it’s like to be in such and such feet of storm surge yet?

If it makes you feel better there are currently reports of a tornado near Lakeland,FL that has caused damage and flipped an 18 wheeler over on the Interstate.

No surprise. I was in Morgan City for Hurricane Barry this summer when Weather Channel reporter was reporting live from the seawall. The reporter said the winds were gusting and the seawall was in jeopardy of being toppled over. It was all BS and not even close to being the truth. All fake news.

In Orlando, just got back to the hotel from Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios... it's pretty bad out there... the wind unsnapped a button on my $3 poncho and I stepped in a puddle that soaked my left sock, kinda

Idk how I made it out alive

...and Accuweater is their webservice. If you follow them on FB you'll swear there's an extinction level event inbound every time it rains or snows.

I think we need truth in labeling for TV channels.

Weather Channel =/= weather coverage, instead you get hyped up coverage about a branch that fell or could fall in someone’s yard.

CNN =/= cable news network, instead you get the latest antiTrump propaganda delivered by a pansy that could own a network of his own thanks to his mom.

A&E =/= Arts and Entertainment, definitely none of those on that network now.

History Channel, let’s not go there, but I will state the obvious, Definitely, No history on that channel any more.

How's the park looking? I got an email saying they're about to start rebuilding the campgrounds. It sounded as though the main road was still nonexistent in places. My happy place.

This PYT used to be on weather channel. She wasn't on there for long.
