Having your underage daughter being creeped on by a perv vs being mangled under the wheels of a float. Checks out, I guess.

It's a holiday tailored to poor, trashy people. Nothing more nothing less. Hopefully it's eventually banned altogether.

I mean maybe not mugged but a ton of people have been getting pick pocketed on Bourbon. I went there earlier today and it was crazy.

My daughter had her phone picked out of her pocket today and then on the way back to the hotel she had her Coach wristlet yanked out of her hand.

Both times black guys. Second guy bruised her wrist and hand.

I asked her not to go in the first place but she wanted to experience it one time. She says she is never going back.

They removed your thread in a hurry. There have been plenty of BS threads that stay up for a long time but their feelings got hurt by yours.

It’s a big party...with alcohol, scantily clad women, music, celebration. If that’s not your thing stay uptown where it’s the same, just more family friendly.

I’m cool with it not being your thing, but just bc you don’t like something doesn’t make it trashy.

Your name should be Judy....bc you’re judgy as frick

You’ve either never been or didn’t do it correctly. Ignorant statement.

New Orleans Mardi Gras
The first American Mardi Gras took place on March 3, 1699, when French explorers Pierre Le Moyne d’Iberville and Sieur de Bienville landed near present-day New Orleans, Louisiana. They held a small celebration and dubbed their landing spot Point du Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras is for locals and the people of Louisiana.

God forbid someone from out of town coming to Louisianan to enjoy something there. It's not as if it's a poor state that could use some tourism dollars. Only the fat, dumb Louisianians should be able to enjoy it.
