I said in the the other thread about the drinking age, prepare them for the next phase in their life. Teach them right from wrong and make them understand that there are consequences for their actions.
As a parent you can only prepare your kids and hope that they can remember what they were taught.

I'm not sure I see what the point of the thread is, the kid misses out on a semester or so of official functions. Not like the chapters are being disbanded or every single Greek kid is being charged or something. Raise him to not be a dipshit and he will likely avoid the wrath of the imbeciles that think a suitable career could entail running academia.
Also, I wouldn't encourage him to attend LSU anyway.

Love how paying for friends is everyone's go to. Paid for great events, bus trips, tailgates and house parties.

I could have seen the benefit when drinking age was 18. What to the younger guys do now. Drink in the house and watch games on tv so they don't get a MIP? Serious question, because my sons dorm has random searches constantly and gallons of booze is confiscated each time.

If this freeze goes longer then 2-3 weeks, I think Alexander will get some pressure from big money alumni to lift the freeze.

when I lived on campus at UNL my freshman year the RA busted me and a few buddies, we tried to lie about no booze but he opened the fridge and it was packed with Busch Light and fireball.

You're not wrong, but I still find it weird as frick. Some families take way too serious, but to each their own.
