Noticing patterns yet?
EVERGREEN nursing home in New York burned to the ground today.
And now a massive cargo ship is blocking the largest cargo lane in the world. The name? EVERGREEN.
Anyone remember Hillary clinton's codename?

The WAZE closeup is good, but zoom out to see the back up to the north in a 'lake' and even more to the south, just awaiting access.
There was a mention in another list of headlines about this that the ship was blown sideways by a dust storm. Yes, it has high windage, but wouldn't the tugs take that into consideration?

I wonder if someone gets fired over something like this? Do they go in front of a Licensing Board or is there some kind of review process? Do they have to walk the plan
Probably a piss test and a mark in their file.

1312' long and 193' wide, that's a huge ship. Built in 2018.

This picture is a perfect representation of a project I'm working on.
I can't decide if my team is the excavator or the tiny tugboat.

I heard there was a sobriety checkpoint up ahead and the captain tried to make a subtle u-turn.

That ship has near 100,000 horsepower, a big tug is maybe a tenth of that. With that much wind area that ship would have to be lined up down the side with tugs to make a difference in a strong wind. Usually tugs are working with ships that are under their own power and help nudge them where they need to go. A dead ship is a whole different level of tug assist job.

Well, you're kind of right, seeing as aircraft carriers swing big ones.

I read wind caused it, like when you see a bunch of semi trucks turned over on the interstate after a straight line wind, etc. I don't know the length of this ship, but let's says it's close to 1000 feet of sail...
