Oddly enough I don't think I ever saw a nonwhite person in that particular shirt.

Interesting. Rarely do I see the youts wearing private corporate logos. Now NASA, that is all over the kids these days. I certainly missed the memo when that became popular.

Although I will say that Champion has been noticeably revived and popular again since it’s hayday from the 80s.

Baw my parents wouldn’t buy me the Coca Cola shirt. Instead I had knock off that had no print on the horizontal white stripe. I was pissed back then but looking at pics now the shirt doesn’t look as trashy.

When I got to junior high, in 1972, Levi's jeans were the first thing I ever asked my mom to buy by brand. Grew up wearing Wranglers and a lot of TownCraft and PennPress tags in shirts, pants, PJ's, and underwear. You'd have thought we had JC Penny stock.

Growing up a hardcore member of Jockdom, I wore a shoes, tees, and warm-up suits adorned with Puma, Converse, Adidas, and eventually Nike.

Ran the mile & two mile in high school. Got into running for fun in college. I wanted some Reebok running shoes when you had to order them from England from an ad in Runner's World. I wore lots of Brooks shoes in the 80's.

Now I'm 62, and wear nothing but New Balance. Even have some of their Dunham boots.

Funny thing is the only people that I ever saw wearing NASCAR jackets were black.

Those were all gang members. Can't wear 'colors' in public but you can wear a Jeff Gordon / Tony Stewart jacket without getting hassled by the cops.

Is this like the Nascar jackets 10 years ago?

Ha! Nothing like seeing a brother walking around the mall in his $200 Jordans wearing a Jeff Gordon jacket two sizes too big. Good times.

My almost 12yr old daughter loves lululemon and old band tees like nirvana, flogging molly, and Led Zeppelin. I don’t know wtf your kids are wearing. Cheetos sweatshirts?
