That’s incorrect. The MDOT officers deal with log trucks being overweight, no placards, not signed correctly, etc. The MHP are the highway patrol that ride the highways all over the state and deal with everyday incidents.

Sounds like the heifer knew to bang a cop or a few cops, which took care of her problem. Cops were probably married, so she had leverage. This poor guy was taken out by them, so basically no true investigation.

This all happened not far from me at all. I knew of him through mutual friends. From all reports he seemed like a cool hard working guy. I've never heard much good of the wife, always the same things when her name is brought up. I hope ole baw is living it up under a false name somewhere with pretty women and cold beers, but everyone I have talked to assumes his body is somewhere in the woods around here. It's a sad story

It sure doesn’t seem like there has been much of an investigation. And the timeline is really screwy. One minute he’s saying he’s going to come to the police station and/or talk to the cop in the area and the next he just falls off the face of the earth. It sure does smell bad. The kids deserve to know what happened to their Dad.
