At around 3:15 in the afternoon, on a Sunday (the Lord's Day), Stonewall Jackson breathed his last after being shot by his own troops eight days earlier. His left arm had been amputated and he looked to be on the mend until pneumonia set in.

This nation was founded by rebels and traitors. I'm sure the British secretly tell George Washington this on his death day, too.

Yes, so brilliant he got shot by his on troops accidentally after a flanking maneuver. Isn’t something taught in general school 101 about don’t put yourself or your troops in direct line of fire from your own army?
Time to let this era RIP in peace!

Rest in Peace
Fun fact....
It should be stated "Rest in Pieces"
Stonewall's body is buried here but his left arm is buried 100 miles away in Chancellorsville

You’re partially correct, all trolling aside. However, you’re only partially correct because you obviously have no idea that a “revolutionary” and a “rebel” are two different things.

A rebel is someone who resists or defies established authority, rules, or norms. Rebellion is often reactive: an act of defiance, protest, or armed uprising against specific grievances, oppression, or control. It can be individualistic, localized, or sporadic.

A revolutionary is someone who actively works to overthrow an existing system (political, social, or economic) and replace it with a fundamentally different one.The term implies a proactive, transformative vision for society as a whole.

And a revolutionary doesn’t always win. Just ask Robespierre.

Whoever was responsible for teaching you history owes you an apology.

He was a very unique individual, and a bit of an enigma too.

Held Sundays as so sacred that he would not fight on the Lord's day. However, he was known to, on more than one occasion, issue a general order rearranging the days of the week to move Sunday to a later day.

He is said to have always kept one arm raised while on horseback to keep his blood circulation balanced because he believed one side of his body was heavier than the other.

He held slaves, but in defiance of Virginia law he taught them to read, so that they could read the Bible and be granted eternal salvation.

Probably. But what can’t be argued is that Jackson was one of the most brilliant battlefield generals of the 19th century. And his death was a profound loss for the Confederacy. One of history’s most intriguing “what ifs” is how would the Gettysburg Campaign, only two months after his death, been influenced had Stonewall Jackson still been in command of 2nd Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia?

This board would have been nuttier than a Q thread with conspiracies after he died if it was around in 1863.

Yes, it was. Which is why it's so humorous that you and your fellow Trumpettes accuse people of treason and not "loving America" anytime they criticize or or just disagree with your daddy, Donna T.

Rebels, indeed.

Strong Christian, excellent general, and a pain in the arse for the northern generals. They never knew where his army was going to appear because they navigated with speed and efficiency. He was respected on both sides, and his men adored him. He has my respect and many others’ 163 years after his passing. That says a lot.

Never once saw a single Biden voter disagree with anything he or the D party did yet I see Trump voters on here and irl disagree with Trump all the time.
