I don't ever celebrate anyone losing their job. However, there are many many people in that company whose sole job has been to rig elections, silence free speech, spread disinformation and work as a fascist shadow communication arm of the leftist globalist regime.

SOW the wind. Reap the whirlwind.

And companies do need to make money at some point. Twitter is not a start up anymore, it should be generating a sizable profit. The fat needs to be cut, purely from a financial perspective, politics aside

Given it’s valuation and debt load, it needs to generating around $3 billion in annual EBITDA (give or take) as a mature business

Incredibly based.

This is how you actually drain a swamp.

Seems like he’s handling it a lot better than most of us would if we were self-made billionaires.

Some of y'all are too happy about people losing their jobs. I have never fired someone and not felt bad about it, even when they deserve it. Sure, you get over it quicker when they deserve it, but it's still hard.

The worst are people you have to lay off because of changes in directions of the company. I had to let a guy go this summer because we were discontinuing a product line. I didn't sleep the night before I laid him off. I was sick to my stomach. This guy showed up every day and did his job well and with pride, but his only skill was in this one area that was being phased out because the market did not want that product anymore. I get that it's life and that's how it goes sometimes, but anyone who is cheering on a layoff has zero empathy and is not a good person in my eyes.

These people are restricting free speech, think they are better than everyone, don’t respect you, and hate your way of life. Don’t feel bad for them at all. They can learn to code.

These same people mocked coal miners getting fired saying they should learn to code, and then had the balls to ban anyone who said it to journalists who agreed with them when they got canned. I’m sorry, here’s the world’s smallest violin:
